Company Profile

George Lenes
Our goal at Project Management Advisors is to insure the successful completion of every building project we are involved with by effectively facilitating and directing the building design and construction processes. We accomplish this goal by providing our successful consulting services to architects, engineers, general contractors, real estate developers and building owners. We can show these organizations that it is best to contract with a skilled and experienced project management firm rather than to hire and train in-house personnel to manage this very complex and time consuming process. Doing so will help to maximize the rewards of their building projects.
Project Management Advisors is led by George T. Lenes, a trained professional with over 30 years of management experience in the building construction industry. Mr. Lenes has successfully led the development of residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail, institutional and hospitality facilities for real estate developers and building contractors throughout the United States.
Most recently, he developed high-rise condominiums in downtown Seattle, retail shopping centers in Normandy Park and Issaquah and vacation resorts in the western U.S. Mr. Lenes personally led the development of individual projects such as Mosler Lofts (150-unit LEED Silver condominium project in Seattle) and WorldMark Seaside (283-unit resort condominium on the Oregon Coast), as well as assembled and refined Facilities Development Divisions for Northwest real estate developers, including Port Blakely Communities, The Schuster Group and Trendwest Resorts.
Mr. Lenes spent twelve years in the development of senior housing communities throughout the United States for Emeritus Assisted Living and The Hillhaven Corporation. There he led teams of in-house and contracted project managers to design and construct numerous skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities and retirement residences.
Mr. Lenes also managed the construction of high-rise office and institutional projects for general contractors along the West Coast. As such, he understands the goals and motivations of designers, contractors and owners in the building construction industry, making his project management more effective and productive.
To add to his already impressive resume of experience, Mr. Lenes graduated from Stanford University where he earned both a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree in Construction Management and Engineering. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America, graduated from the Dale Carnegie course in Effective Speaking and Human Relations and has completed numerous professional seminars on fire/life safety codes, construction management, negotiating techniques, time management and small business operations.
